A continuous-rated filter for fumes, smokes, mists and bacteria etc. for a wide range of applications from air conditioning to oil mists. A unique feature of the Contiflo is the ability to reduce maintenance to a minimum as the filter can be changed during operation of the filter.
The Contiflo allows for the continuous cleaning of air (24 hours seven days a week).
Operation
The Contiflo filter operation is based on contaminated air being drawn through a “vee”-shaped inlet opening where it turns and passes through the filter media. Support for the filter media is provided by a continuous belt that moves with the media along its path.
The carrier and filter media indexes on pressure changes across the media. This maintains a good filter efficiency. The clean air is discharged through an outlet vee-shape.
The media can be changed while the filtering process continues.
