Small compact filter units using dry or wet filter media. The units are sized to accept small machines mounted on the top, saving floor and bench space.
Ideal for intermittent use on small dust and fume generating machines and processes. Correctly proportioned air to filter ratio to achieve maximum efficiency from filters and fan performance, resulting in good protection for the operator, unlike many of its competitors.
The Dustand comes in three different forms:

Operation
Polytex C3 - C5
Dust-laden air is captured at source by individually designed hoods and then drawn through ducting into the unit by a powerful fan.
On entering the unit heavy dust particles fall immediately into the collection bin while the finer particles are deposited on the outside of a cartridge. The cleaned air is then discharged to atmosphere.
Nonflam
These units operate by drawing dust-laden air through a powerful water spray. Water in a tank is whipped up into a spray by a fan in the top of the unit. Dust is drawn through this atomised zone which captures the wetted particles producing a sludge which sinks to the bottom of the tank. This can be easily removed by periodically raking out or collected in a hopper.
Simple in operation, the unit operates without using pumps, jets or nozzles and is thus virtually maintenance free.
