These Booths are ideal for operator protection when weighing chemicals, powders or filling drums with dust and fume producing chemicals. The operator can work in the Booth without a mask as the contaminated air is constantly removed from the breathing zone.
Operation
Air is drawn into the Booth in a streamlined turbulence-free flow. This is achieved by pulling the air through a perforated wall into a specially designed plenum chamber. All airborne dusts and fumes are drawn away from the operator's breathing zone and into the chamber where they can be exhausted via a dust collection unit or directly to the atmosphere, depending on the nature of the contaminant. A flush-mounted fluorescent light is fitted as standard.
Options
- The standard size is 2.1m (7ft) x 2.1m (7ft) x 2.1 m (7ft) inside dimension. Other sizes are available on request.
- Booths can be supplied in stainless steel.
- For smaller operations a powder weighing bench is available at which the operator can sit or stand.
- Booth can be supplied with an external skin to present a smooth exterior.
